I find myself sucking a bit of wind right now Bruce, but the cardio is slowly coming back. Mostly running on the treadmill, but I do take the pup for a run at least every other day.

Lifting heavy this close to a meet is a bad Idea (does not give enough time for adequate recovery).

I am a dolt! I never noticed that you had competed! I skimmed over your posts and thought that was a workout not a contest. Nice return to the platform even if you were depleted on the day.

Good Evening there Bruce, I tried lifting in a lighter class, but really felt the difference strength wise. Its hard to tell how the cardio affects my strength, it may just be a result of the rapid weightloss. Brock, I downplayed my competition and treated this event as a training meet. There were 72 lifters in total and some very impressive performances. Cheers, Al
