So you had the false alarm and now you are playing the waiting game eh? Maybe this will be the theme for this young ladies life .....keep em waiting on her. As long as Mom, Snowdaddy and the sibs are all doing OK the wait won't be so bad will it? Take care. Brock

This Monday we will be induced and we should have the baby shortly there after. I was getting all excited about the bench night being this Tuesday (20 May) when in fact its next. Good thing, it would be hard to explain to the Mrs as she'll be with new baby and it is our 8th wedding anniversary. "Dear I'll be back in a couple of hours. I have to go bench with the boys. Oh ya, Happy Anniversary". ;D

Ryan it looks like we will have to bow to the entrenched feelings & well being of our "Elderly III" lifter and utilize the gym at Park West. Hopefully when Harv replies we can set up a convenient time. Although, since you are the out of town guest and traveling the furthest what time is a convenient start time for you?
I'm off work between 4 - 5 so I'm good anytime after 5:30.
Harvey, do you and the esteemed bencher "Melonhead" have boards etc.? I will be brining my shirt as well since there will be so much help at this gathering and I will also need some gear time.

First let me point out that Mellonhead has 2 L"s not one.I know for a fact that he is very sensitive over the correct spelling. At a later date I will publish the study we did the last time we had a bench crew where we correlated head size to bench shirt size.Very scientific. We are working out tonight so let me see if I can beg some free passes for next Tuesday to the gym.

Brock,Neither next Monday or Tuesday works for Trevor. We are going to bench this coming Sunday at the Fort Rouge Centre at 6:15 pm as Trevor works till 6 on Sunday. You may as well lift at the HHG on Tuesday at a time convenient to your selfs and I'll come down to help out but not to lift.I'm free so anytime Tuesday is okay for me but Trevor simply can't make it.Sorry for the delay in getting back but old Mellonhead does not know his work schedule that far in advance. Let me know what time and I'll be there. Harvey

Yes Ryan come here to the HHG. What time is good for you? As I stated above I will be able to lift for 5:30 at the earliest. However, you are the one coming in from Portage.

I wish I could make it on Tuesday but work always has to get in the way. Just wondering if anyone feels less of a pop on the bottom from the Katana compared to a F6. I haven't got the hang of my Katana yet, I think I have to tuck my elbows in more as I lower the bar.

Ed, try posting the question on the Titan Forum and see if their sponsored lifters have any suggestions. You could always go onto the CPU Forum and post the question there asking for input from Sean O'Hallorahan (sp?) since Titan sponsors him and I believe he uses the F6.

Here we go: First :to Mr. and Mrs. Snowdaddy congratulation on the newest Snowbaby Secondly: 6pm works for me,see you there Thirdly: Bearbait Done hundreds of singles in the Fury,F6 and 49 [yes I count them] in the Katana and the Katana is the best off the bottom.I think the tucking of the elbows is a little over used expression.Lifting a couple weeks back and watching an 806 and 706 bench it seems the term is really meant as a last stage effort when the shirt is so tight that you need to tuck to get to touch.I'm still playing around on my setup but am actually trying to bring the weight down having the elbows in the same position from start to finish.I think by trying to tuck I was turning into a belly bencher. The last workout you had with Melon and myself I thought your form was dame near perfect.Did you go up or down bodyweight by chance? The sheiko may also be a factor. Must go walk the dog, stay strong Harvemeister
