Is anybody out there? Al are you in town or out on duty in the far North? How is the training and will we see you at the Meet? Brock

Good Evening Brock, I am just in the process of moving accross town in preparation for my planned retirement in the fall. I am sorry to say that I am scheduled to be in Oklahoma during the meet, but come the fall my intention is to make a general nuisance of myself at every upcoming meet. Let's see how that plan works out. Cheers. Al

That is unfortunate that you will not be in town. Heading for Oklahoma? Tornado watch?

Just doing a little air-to-air refuelling this time around Brock (Mom said that if my grades didn't improve I would end up pumping gas...). Cheers, Al

No problem, any time. The one handed snatch was very impressive.

Just demonstrating one of those retro-lifts (i.e. "stupid-people tricks"; nothing too heavy).

Hey those lifts are fun to try. A couple of years ago I worked up to a 60kg one handed C & P as part of a challenge on the SDF Forum where I also post my workouts.

That's impressive ;D The one-handed snatch is just a balancing act; really not much of a variation of the two handed variety. Now one-handed pressing is a different animal altogether, that is a real feat of strength.
