What kind of shirt are you using?

46 F6. Would it just need to be broken in more?

It will be easier to touch when it gets broken in more. Other things to watch is how you put the sleeves on, putting the sleeves on with your palms down will allow you to touch lighter weights. If the shirt is fully seated into your armpits it will be easier to touch and also where the neck line of the shirt is. The more you pull the neck line down the more support the shirt will give you and making it harder to touch, leaving the neck line higher but not high enough that it chokes you will make it easier to get the weight down. It takes a lot of experimenting with the shirt to see what works best for you.

May 26 deadlifts 135, 225, 315 warmup 405x2, 495x2, 545x1 Used a 42 Titan velocity here. Overall I think if anything it caused me to be weaker. Was a struggle to reach bar and pulls felt awkward and not explosive. Getting frustrated with the gear might just lift raw.

This is a common problem that I have found with the Deadlift suits. To the point where I do not wear one. However, Steve Powell had very good success taking a deadlift suit that my wife could not reach the bar with and pulling 320kg while he was wearing it!
I think the main thing is to maintain your normal deadlift position. If the suit puts you out of position too much you leave yourself open to injury. As always, experimentation and time in the suit will help you decide.

I too have had the problem with Deadlift suits. I was given a Titan Superior suit from Ryan Stinn that worked great but only when I pulled sumo. I couldn't get to the bar conv. Actually I've never worn a suit that I've gotten any kind of support and been able to get to the bar. Only Sumo. I pull 250kg raw conv, approx 210kg raw sumo, and have pulled 267.5kg sumo in gear. Now that I've gained some weight (lots of weight) The suit doesn't work the same. I've given up gear for deadlifts. Deadlifts + Gear = way too unpredictable.
Just my oppinion

I think i'll just leave the deadlift suit alone for now it pulls me out of position too much and I'm not getting anything out of it at the moment. May 28 Squats- warmup with 135, 225, 315 put on suit- 405x5, 425x5, 455x3, add knee wraps- 455x2, 495x2 Box squats- 135x6, 225x6, 315x4 Hack Squats- 3 sets Abs- 3 sets

Yes! Nice squatting Patrick!
Harv's got a point, you can pull in your squat suit. I know quite a few lifters who do this. Give it a try and see if this gives you the support you need while allowing you to get into the proper position.
