well with Strongman now done for me for the year time to concentrate for esterhazy......I have taken the last couple weeks off to regroup and let the body heal a little.....now the fun begins

Very nice weight you are moving for Squats Grasshopper. How was the depth? Also, how was the Strongman contests you did this year? Will we see you on TV again at the Canadian Nationals? Where did you place? McLifter

as for the questions.....for the front squat I have just found it helpful for flexibility and things like that....also for strongman I found it more effective for things like log press and stones...I also like how they make you concentrate on hip strength.....
as for depth....when I hit the 505 i would say that 1 of them for sure would have been legit (rheband notwithstanding)...that all being said my weight is a touch heavy right now and I am noticing that in regards to my flexibility (i have to warm up now before doing the splits). Won't be on TV this year....I got 4th and did not qualify, I have also changed jobs so that was a fair amount of things going on in the grey matter (I am currently in the training process to join Ryan and team Dauphin in their current line of work)

for warmups usually a couple sets of 10 with 135 and 225, usually some cleans in there too for doubles and singles.....will usually do 315 and 365 for some doubles or triples...... Impressive military's; cant say that I've met too many lifters able to pull off sub-300 presses for that many reps.

Did some yard work and rebuilt my lifting platform in my garage and all seems to be ok no so will deadlift on Monday, light bench on Tuesday and squat on Thursday.
