Squat form is coming along I think. Front squats are still feeling awkward but it's only the fourth time I have ever done them. I'm actually enjoying this program but it takes a lot of time to get through it, I'll try to post the link that has them listed.

Last day of program 29, I'm going to take it easy this week just some light lifting on Thursday. I'll be in the city for a week on the 10th so I'll probably take it easy until I get home.

April 18th
Bench------1x12-135, 1x6-225, 1x3-275, 1x2-315, 1x1-335, 1x1-365, 375 missed, 1x7-315 Flies--------3x12-light
I did my benches touch and go I missed the 375 at about a two board height. Doing paused reps for a month has really helped me move my weak point up. I'm going to start another sheiko cycle in a week or so, I might try to do boards for Mondays bench, raw paused on Wednesday and boards alternated with some shirt work on Fridays. If anyone has any thoughts on my idea please share them.

Hi Ed,Not sure if the drop set does a lot for you.I would suggest that you should have retried the 375 or 365 and forget the drop set.If you want to do a drop set probably 65% of the hi single might be better.In this workout you were essentially done when you missed 375. Harvey

Ed Quick question!Are you going to follow this routine to the letter into the contest in June.I want to get going on this but have got sidetracked into going into a bench contest in Ontario on May 10.Got a 2 ply shirt that I want to try out.Keep posting your workouts as think they are very good to read.Hope to have one heavy workout Monday or Tuesday next week.If you are in town and available let me know. Hi Harv, this is the same 4 week routine I ran last time except I'm doing 2 boards on Mondays, raw paused on Wednesday and three board or shirt on Fridays. I'm also going to cut down the deadlifts a little on Wed., I found that it was a little much for me. I'm not sure what I'll be doing to work up to the comp in June yet. Where in Ont. is the bench contest? I will be in the City mid May sometime I will let you know when I get the dates confirmed.

Contest is in Mississauga.One of those multi ply meets with the fast press command .It's a couple days before my 61st birthday so wanted to see if I could crank a big weight before I get much older. Harv
