Mostly working to maintain some consistency in snatch technique. Missed a few lighter snatches due to timing.

Thanks Bruce,a little encouragement from a big guy goes a long way. Took it easy this week and I'm not feeling too bad. I'm really looking forward to stepping up onto the wood again (last time was the Westerns in Regina in 93").

Hey Bruce, I walked away with a Bronze in the 94kg open class. Only 9 pull-ups today, have to work on it;not quite ready to face you in a match just yet.

Very nice lots of work on the ol pulling strength there Al. Some good BP and of course my favourite the PU. I seen you on the platform via the vids you posted, you looked great. Given I am not in a position to judge but it appeared to me you had very good form and some explosive force evident in all attempts.Thanks for posting the vids. B

Thanks Bruce, The lifts felt pretty strong, I just have to fine tune my technique a little and keep the bar in close during the pull (it bit me on both of my last lifts). Really enjoyed doing two contests back to back; after prepping for a powerlifting meet, strength was not an issue last Saturday. Cheers,

Harv, The power cleans came as a bit of a (pleasant) shock at the contest ; in training, I'm usually pinned to the floor in a full clean by 100kg. Cheers, Al
