Not feeling too bad there Bruce, this was my first workout in a shirt since May. Still a few technical bugs to iron out; a bit of an uneven extension on the first 315, second attempt just ran out of gas. I still have to learn some of the finer points of shirt technique as my gains are not really significant, but I will wear it in competition (use whatever advantage I can).

Al: The first couple times I competed with the shirt, it didn't really add to my total, it just allowed me lift in competition, the same amount I could lift in the gym (motionless vs. touch and go). Some judges (Sue!!) really make you pause significantly, and the shirt helps you stay tight at the bottom, and get 'er moving again when that "Press" command finally comes!

Good to hear from you Brother I appreciate the advice:
Have to agree with you there Gary, at times it seems like less effort to bench raw, I don't expect the shirt to give me a significant advantage over my gym poundages. On the upside, I played with some slightly heavier weights last night and it didn't take too much out of me (not sore at all today).
On a different topic, have you touched base with the Ontario Powerlifters yet?

Did a fair amount of overhead technique work afterwards; now I'm spent.

I've tried contacting the Pres, both online and I left a message at his house. No joy. I'm entering the contest in Ottawa on the 6th of December, they'll have to talk to me then!! I'm having alot of trouble training...I was really spoiled in Winnipeg, having my training partner/coach working with me. I think I will be ready enough not to embarrass myself, but I'm not on my game.

Snatch: (20+10ohs, 20x5, 40x4:x2,50x2, 55x2, 60x2, 70,75, 80,80, 82,83.5, 85, 87,87) C&J:87kg Jk fr rack: (90,95,100) Squat: (100x3:x2, 125x3, 136x3:x4) Bench: (20x5, 75x3, 105x4:x4)
Gary: I can't see you embarassing yourself; no doubt about it we are blessed to have a good sense of community here in Manitoba. Bruce, thanks for the encouragement: Apart from the uneven extension, feet moving, butt in the air, and head wobbling, my one board at 315lbs looked pretty good.
