Things are going well. It looks like the m-o 105 division will be tough with 9 lifters registered. But i will be competitive and am really looking forward to it. So far injury and pain free and training is going well. I understand you will be there refereeing?

Yes, Sue and I will be there to Referee. Don't worry too much about the other guys. It is a competitive weight class (but they all are as you step up in level). Go in there with your plan and your goals and hit those...you will enjoy the experience and you will learn a few things too.

Just finishing last couple of training days before deloading for Westerns. I'm actually leaving this Saturday for a little vacation with the family before competing on the 4th. Really needing a deload and looking forward to it, almost feeling borderline overtrained, not having taken a week off for 7 weeks straight. I usually deload every three weeks. Just planning my attempts and hoping to add about 20kg to my total from my last meet in Dauphin. After 8 cycles of 5/3/1, my deadlift is stalling, but my squat and bench are still getting stronger, although they are slowing down. After a short break after Westerns I am going to add some changes to my deadlift training to get it moving again.

I just started a 10th cycle of 5/3/1. Only doing 5/3/1 for squats and deads. I am 6 weeks into a 12 week Ed Coan bench program that I'm running concurrently with 5/3/1. Really enjoying the Coan bench program, havent tested max bench yet and am going to try and hold off until the end of the program. I have been training but not following anything in particular so looking forward to the structure of 5/3/1 again. sivart0891.blogspot.ca/and training up until this week; nedyah3002.blogspot.ca/

Its weird but heavy squats dont seem to bother my groin at all, but I reaggravated it swimming with my kids? I haven't skated or played hockey since hurting it the second time so.not sure where its at but squatting is fine.

You should put up a link to the training you have been doing up to Provincials. I was looking and did not find it on your other Blogs.

Not too bad actually. I can bench and deadlift almost 100% but still cant handle too much weight squatting. The weight on my shoulders/chest is too much still. Got up to about 275 last squat session.
