Ed / Trevor Will bench Tuesday at 6 at Park West.If you can bring a camera Any idea if you can do a Canadian record,ie 3 judges now! Your deadlift will come along as long as you spend as much time on it as on the bench. Harv

June 20 Bench- 3x8-275 paused last rep of each set Incline bench- 3x8-185 Seated press- 3x8-135 Standing tri ext with pur. band-3x20 Face pulls w. pur. band-3x20
8 reps felt like cardio I'll have to cut down on the reps. I havn't done incline presses for about 2 years figured I'd throw them in once in a while because I seen Steve doing them.

Incline press helps the shoulders and as you know strong shoulders = a strong bench. How are you feeling this week? A sumo stance chicken wing eating session sounds like some serious training! Have you found your consumption varies with sumo to Conventional stance? Does the wing type affect your biomechanics? Is HOT SAUCE a factor for a one plate max? All questions the rookies want to know. ;D McLifter

Harv has shown me a variation of the incline press that I will refer to as the Harv-press it is very good and think it will take my bench to new heights. Harv kicked I disagree in wing eating again this week the guy is a trooper. I tried the Sumo stance this time hoping it would allow my stomach to expand easier but it wasn't enough to overcome the wing eating machine Harv. As for flavours I made a bad choice with Sea salt & vinegar which made me drink more beer and affecting my MWC "Maximum wing consumption". Don't worry Harv I'm training. I'm still getting over a cold hopefully gone soon and then I'll eat some wings.
Squats----225-2x5, 255-5x5 GMs-------185-5x5 Trained my Abb with 6 sets of assorted exercises.

Yes Grasshopper, You are working hard, but here are some pointers: 1:You must learn to eat chicken wings with both hands. You cannot rely on just one hand as you will be too slow. 2:I noticed you are sitting too far back from the table. You are spending too much time reaching and not enough time eating. You have to watch your setup to minimize the distance from the plate to your mouth. 3:Your selection of sauces needs improving. You seem to like the salty sauces. The problem with this is that you spend to much time drinking beer to quench your thirst. 4:I noticed the you were wearing a tight Titan tee shirt. Not good to constrict the stomach while eating wings. 5:I have noticed that the % system works good for improving your consumption.By this I mean that some days you should only workup to 80% of your maximum rather than always eating the maximum. Keep up ther good work. Coach Harv

This past Monday and Wednesday the DBC has invaded the local gym in town for a change of scenery. We all got free 2 week passes so it was the right price. So we brought our chalk, nose tork and flatulence and gave the locals something to look at. Out of the two days there we might have recruited a new lifter we will see, this could mean someone under 200 lbs in the club.
