It just needs to be a plain singlet. It can be one of the singlets that the Powerlifting manufacturers produces or a wrestling singlet. Since it is non-supportive dimensions are not a factor.

Haven't done squats in a good month to let my hip/inner thigh heel. Everything feels normal again, and the 125x5 felt too easy.

I'd really like to compete, but I have an exam during the day. It's from 9:30 to 11:30 so I'd probably get to 17th Wing at around 12:00-12:30. I was thinking I could come to the end of the meet if there's still time.
Do you know around what time each lift starts?

Hi! I'm still alive. I've been lifting regularly but have been incredibly busy with school and other activities. I'm still doing dance and taekwondo and have just picked up ultimate frisbee so I've been busy! Here are my most recent lifting days: Jan 24 Squat - 45x5, 95x5, 115x5, 125x5 Front squats - 45x5, 75x5, 95x5 Deadlifts - 135x5, 155x5, 185x5, 205x5 Jan 27 bench - 45x5, 55x5, 60x3, 70x9 narrow grip bench - 55x3x6 sumo dl - 135x5, 155x5, 185x5, 205x5, 225x3, 245x3 Jan 28 DL deficits - 135x5, 155x5, 185x5, 205x3 Military press - 45x5, 50x5, 55x5 I know there is a meet coming up in February, and I am VERY interested in joining, just for fun. I'd like to participate in deadlift only for now, and one day do the whole thing. I've recently switched to pulling sumo and would appreciate any advice on my form. Good to see you back here Amy. The form looks good on the sumo but I just watched it quickly from work last week.
If you decide to compete you either commit to the three lift meet or the Benchpress only meet. There are no separate events for the Squat and the Deadlift.
Come out to the February contest on the 20th and see what goes on. Then you will have a chance to train for June without conflicting with your studies as much.
