Derek If you are referring to big Ed, he is the last guy on earth to need a bench shirt.About 2 1/2 years ago Bert and I were benching at the YMCA and Ed asked if he could join in for a quick workout. He benched 585 for 5 reps and the first 3 would pass the most strict judging as he did them with full pause. This was without a bench shirt or even wrist wraps at about 350 lbs.Tried to get him to go in a contest but he did not have any interest. BAD BAD BAD DAYS.
Well boys out of dauphin, I really did want to go, other things came up. Gotsa wedding and some moneymaking/saving thing now. Plus my gym membership is temporarly cancelled. Still have the weights and bench at home, but I have to get the squat rack together to do squatting. and a nice platform for deadlifting.
hopefully everything is back in order for november. and other things.
I will be back for sure. I need to feed the beast.

Current situation. I will be doing a Raw only bench meet with one of the local Reserves.
That being Sagkeeng First Nations.
Of course with uncalibrated weight and such. But I hope to get more people involved in the sport by doing some on reserve.
Will be using My power bench at the meet. So it should be sometime at the end of july or begining of august. Post some more info later.

Yes. Still building one. Be finished either by november or at the latest feb next year. Won't be using the bottle jack design however. Using the chain hoist for simplicity along with adjustable arms. I will also have the texas squat bar at that time.

Are you asking me to put one on?
Not sure. But I am willing to lend the equipment if necessary. But it would be dependent on scheduling. Since I am working with the reserves with armwrestling and powerlifting.
First Nations Strength for Sport it's called.
So Yeah. When I got time for venue, and getting the judges to come and judge. well why not? I know We have Bert avaliable for multiply judge.
Can IPF judges cross Judge?
