I think I weighed about 128kg at that competition where I benched raw. In gear I weighed about 135kg. Ages are 33 and 35 respectively. Thanks for the well wishes for the up coming competition.

The heaviest lifter has posted the most weight benched however the lightest lifter has posted the most weight over BW and would certainly win based on WILKS alone. Come on Snow and Espey give me the rest of the info to finish your numbers up and those of you who have not supplied any info contibute. AGE BW how much you bench RAW psed and T+G please this is interesting with more data I can make comparisions and it is a good way to look at it. How much over your BW can you press?? My experience is that it is not the big boys that are the strongest. Lets here from some lighter lifters!!!!!!!!!!!! AL?

I like to look at the difference between the weight of the lifter and his RAW BP,as well as the age. The diffrences between shirted and Raw or psed and T+G are interesting as well. Some guys get a lot more outta gear than others. All just fun for me. Man Bert is a real perenial lifter look at those benches, my compliments sir. How about you people in the lighter weight classes??? Raw BP please!!

Just so you know a couple years back Bert ripped his triceps off his arm so his benching is done with quite a handicap. At Calgary in 2005 at the CPO Nationals he took a run at 505 lbs in a 2 ply shirt at about 210 bodyweight..He didn't do it but that was about the last time he benched before hurting his arm.

Just broke the five plate(225kg) raw bench last november @280lbs and twenty six years young. Check out the video on youtube "joe's first ever 500 bench". I am proud to say that all my lifts are raw i've never worn a bench shirt or have I taken any illegal drugs! - By the way looks like I see a lot of good lifts by the other memebers, Good work people.

That is impressive. If you can make it down there is a contest on this coming Saturday which starts at 11 am at Wing 17..Come by and say hello. IF YOU SEE A TALL HANDSOME GUY WITH A GOATEE WHO DOES NOT LOOK A DAY OVER 60 THAT WILL BE ME. Think with a little tinkering on your set up you can do a lot more.In contests the rules are a bit more strict so watching would help if you were interested. Anyways, great lifting. Harvey
