Weigh in 214 in gym clothes[actual 210 new low] barx5 2 sets 135x5 2 sets 185x3 225x1 245x1 shirt[new super Katana scooped neck,grid stitched same size as regular Katana] 3bd 315x2 3bd 335x2 3bd 365x2 3bd 405x1 didn't finish lockout 2bd 315x2 1bd 315x1 bench 315x1/325x1/345 touched but missed 4sets curls light weight
Comment on new shirt I was totally taken back that first workout could touch with 315 as haven't been able to touch with 405 in my regular Katana and it has a lot miles on it..I was thinking this would be more like a 2 ply shirt and it is not.You can really feel the grid stitching but the wide collar makes this a very easy shirt to bench in.It seems that it is very forgiving as far as being slightly out of the grove and still coming up with a good pop off the chest Thanks to Bert for coming out to give the start and press command. Now just have to figure out how to torque the shirt up.Today just put the shirt on snug and benched. It seems that you have to really pull the front down to use the extra support built into the scoop neck and grid stitching.

Yeah Boss RAW now I am curious is all. I know the competition lifters are all into shirted BP and the training for shirted is different(from what I have read). I see huge differences in guys like Mendelson and Chabot. Like 300 pounds difference. Amazing for me to think about a 700 plus RAW bench much less a 1000 plus geared. I hit 300 RAW last year what would that give me in a shirt do you think??

Perhaps this shirt just works better for you Harv! I think it will be better overall if you can get in the proper touches. Sure, you have the weight in your hands but you still need to move it through the range of motion for the full effect. Keep it up! Brock

This shirt was not what I was expecting.I was looking for a real struggle to get it down and it was easy.I think it must be the scooped neck giving you more flexibility just as you get to the bottom.Whatever ,I got to say I sure like this type of shirt. Will see how it works in November.Actually been spending more time on my squats.
