Hi, I was wondering if anyone has hints on how to get on a titan fury - i just got a sz 44. it looks like it will fit fine, but i can't get the bar down! do you bench lower? what about grip width ? i'm a narrow bencher and i bench below pecs normally. any help would be appreciated

If the shirt is new it might take a few workouts to break the shirt in, it will stretch. If this is your first shirt it will take some workouts in it to get the feel for the shirt. The seam on the arm should be lined up with your elbow, that will make it easier to touch turning the seam can make it harder to touch. If you bench below your pecs a F6 might have a better groove for you. What is your chest measurement?

Ah... The age old question... How do I use my bench shirt? Here's what I've figured out about my Fury. Go to the HHG and let McLifter show you how it's done. That concludes my lecture on Bench shirts 101. ;D

This is my 2nd bench shirt - first one (and well used) was a standard blast. My chest measurement is 36".
The shirt is new - I bench below my pecs, and my grip is fairly narrow. I tried the shirt for 2nd time and was able to get it "seated" better and got the bar to 1/2" above chest. I had to load extra 50 lbs on it to get the bar down.
I am thinking of trying a wider grip as well.

If the shirt is brand new you should be touching in about 4 more workouts without too much trouble or doing anything special. They are very tight to start with. What size and model shirt is it.Call me if you haven't touched after doing 25 singles.Don't try changing your bench grip until you have got the bar to touch using the grip you always use.You don't want to be doing 2 new things at the same time. Awesome - thanks Harv. Its Ramadan - so Mikail and I are taking the training a bit easy - I'll just keep trying to get used to the shirt. Are you lifting in November?

Hi Zena,Yes plan to lift in November, but taking part of week off to go watch Worlds in Newfoundland the week before. Also plan on lifting 90 kilo class.Try using the shirt every time you bench so you can break it in.If you want to make the trip down to Park West I am sure we could get you set up in one workout. When Ramadan is over I think you might find the shirt fits better as you must lose a few pounds during the holiday.
