;D Check out my Blog at snowdaddypowerlifting.blogspot.com/I am no expert at powerlifting training but I'm sure we can both learn from eachother. Being a novice lifter gives me some insight of knowing a bit about training but I also make lots of mistakes. Through my blog I'd like to pass on the knowledge that I have but also learn from the input of more experienced lifters. Check it out. I'm having lots of fun up dating it. Snowdaddy

Snowdaddy
I was watching a documentary about some wild, "indoor" ski hill in your parts. Looks like an engineering marvel. If you see it, send us a digital.
Hope the lifting is keeping up. Working long shifts can be a drag. Talk has begun about your next powerlifting contest. Hurry back.

This country is amazing! The amount of money being spent on infrastructure would boggle the mind. There are hundreds of skyscrapers being built in Dubai. There are cranes everywhere. Most of the buildings being built are architectural masterpieces. They are currently in the process of building the world's tallest building. It will be taller than the CN tower in T.O. Also if anyone attempts to build one taller it has an expandable top section to make it taller. Simply amazing. There is only one thing here that has truly disturbed me. I went to "Golds Dubai" to find out about local powerlifting. When I arrived I found that the complex that housed the gym was scheduled for demolition. It almost brought a tear to my eye. There were still mirrors and posters on the walls. I at least was able to walk around and get a feel for the place. Very neat. When I return on the 2nd of March I will give a detailed brief on my whole experience.

Thats about a 610kg (1345lb) training total: Not too shabby for raw lifting. Cheers, Al ps. One question, did you use the gym bars or the Texas power bar?
