I've seen guys use the straps for front squats before. For individuals who have poor upper body flexability (full figured lifters ;D) they can hold the straps instead of contorting to hold the bar. I haven't tried it yet but I'm sure it helps.

I just went and had a look. That is quite impressive too! Did you check out Rezazadeh doing 280 for a double?

I have done 315# for a triple a few years ago. Just did 135kg for a triple this Monday. So, I'm thinking I could get 145 - 150 for a single these days. Who knows what is possible with some focus and work on the lift. Brock
